New Warbond Exo Experts Unveiled for Helldivers 2
Arrowhead Studios has announced the upcoming premium Warbond, Exo Experts, for Helldivers 2.
Arrowhead Studios has officially announced the next premium Warbond for Helldivers 2, named Exo Experts, which is set to launch on April 28. This Warbond aims to empower players to traverse hostile environments with confidence, utilizing advanced mech technology in the service of Managed Democracy. The developers highlight the dual nature of machines as both adversaries and allies, stating, "When you need to combat fire with fire, it's crucial to become an Exo Expert." Included in this Warbond is the EXO-51 Lumberer, which is described as a modern take on the classic Lumberers from the first Galactic War. This formidable exosuit is armed with an anti-tank cannon and a flamethrower, designed to deliver devastating firepower and eliminate smaller threats in a blaze of Liberty. Additionally, players can look forward to the EXO-55 Breakthrough, equipped with a flak cannon and a ballistic shield, enabling them to confront Super Earth’s most formidable enemies while delivering heavy fire. The MGX-42 Bullet Storm is another noteworthy addition, characterized as a disposable machine gun featuring multiple barrels and caseless ammunition. The arsenal is further enhanced by the SMG-203 Gallant, which boasts a rapid fire rate but sacrifices magazine capacity for enhanced penetration. Completing this package is the P-33 Missile Pistol, which employs state-of-the-art guided, heat-propelled rounds and includes a lock-on feature that reportedly hits its target 60% of the time. In terms of armor, players will receive the O-2 Heavy Operator armor, the designated outfit for Super Earth Citizens operating heavy machinery. This armor pairs well with the Watchful Compatriot cape and includes the Oxygenator perk for improved mobility. The Warbond also comes with the Exosuit Certified title and the Thumb of Approval emote and victory pose. Recently, Arrowhead revealed some staggering statistics from Helldivers 2’s second year, noting an astonishing 177 million incidents of friendly fire, with 34 million accidental fatalities attributed to the Eagle Strafing Run.
