With the World Cup set to commence in a matter of weeks, exciting news about The World’s Game update for EA Sports FC 26 and EA Sports FC Mobile has emerged, complete with exclusive screenshots and insights. Scheduled for release on May 28, The World’s Game update will introduce players to a fresh 48-team international tournament mode, launching on June 4. Although EA Sports does not possess the official FIFA World Cup license, the update will feature 53 fully licensed national teams, including 41 that are actually participating in the World Cup event. Among the fully licensed teams available are football powerhouses such as Brazil, England, France, Cabo Verde, and Uzbekistan. The update also brings in new stadiums, including Gillette Stadium and BMO Field, as well as Central Maw, which has been designed to emulate the vibrant atmosphere of premier international football matches. Included in the announcement are two exclusive images showcasing the Mexico and Morocco national teams as they will appear in The World’s Game update. Additionally, EA Sports has confirmed that the update will feature two non-licensed teams with authentic players (Egypt and Japan) alongside five generic squads (Algeria, Curaçao, Iran, Iraq, and Jordan).
