GTA 6 Original Score Set for Release with New Track Available Now

Rockstar Games has announced that the Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score will be available on December 11 on major music streaming platforms, alongside a double CD and triple vinyl release. A new track has also been unveiled for fans to enjoy.

The release date for the Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score has been confirmed for December 11, according to Rockstar Games. This score will be accessible across all leading music streaming services and will also be offered in physical formats, including a double CD and triple vinyl. Created by the Grammy-winning French electronic duo Justice, the score features a total of 30 tracks composed specifically for the game. Among these is the track "Flower in a Hurricane," which includes contributions from Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, along with several additional digital bonus tracks available in all formats. In addition to the announcement, Justice has released a new track titled "Pusher," which showcases a collaboration with fellow French artist Gesaffelstein. The Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score will be available in a limited crystal clear edition and a standard black version on both 2xCD and 3xLP formats. This extensive score offers around three hours of music, encompassing a variety of bonus tracks. Justice, consisting of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay, collaborated closely with the Rockstar Games team to ensure that the music aligns seamlessly with the game's narrative and the gameplay experience. The score is designed to be dynamic, responding to player interactions within the expansive world of Grand Theft Auto VI, focusing on the central characters Jason and Lucia. De Rosnay commented on the broad scope of the game, noting the necessity for the music to capture a wide range of emotions and styles. "We were given the freedom to explore as many things as we needed to, musically speaking," he stated. The duo first introduced their work through the hit "Flower In a Hurricane," which marked Justice's debut entry on the Billboard Hot 100, reaching #62. They now share "Pusher," providing a glimpse into the instrumental elements of the score and marking their first collaboration with Gesaffelstein. In addition to the score, Rockstar has offered teasers of in-game radio stations and singles from the Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album on the official GTA 6 website, building excitement for the game's release. Interestingly, British singer Cliff Richard has experienced a surge in popularity at the age of 86, following the inclusion of his 1976 hit "Devil Woman" in the GTA 6 Extended Look on Netflix. After gaining attention from the movie I, Tonya, the song saw a remarkable 325% increase in daily streams post its appearance in the GTA 6 gameplay. However, Richard appeared puzzled by this resurgence in a recent interview, expressing a lack of understanding about the game itself. As fans eagerly await the game's release on November 19, there is much more to explore about GTA 6, including unexpected gameplay reveals in recent episodes of South Park, the inspiration behind one of its key mechanics drawn from a beloved GTA 4 meme, and the promise of an early-open world for players to explore.
